WiFi EDUROAM WiFi NETWORK

Eduroam (Education roaming) is an international collaboration between universities and research institutions to create simple and secure access to wireless networks. Users who visit an institution participating in the initiative are able to use the local wireless network using the same credentials (username and password) as their own institution, without further formalities at the host institution.

Students, teaching and technical / administrative staff of the University of Eastern Piedmont can then connect to the wireless network of any participating institution, using their Uniupo credentials.

Similarly, users from any institution participating in the project can use the Eduroam network transmitted by our University, using the credentials provided by their own institution.

Instructions

• Use browser to visit cat.eduroam.org
• At the bottom select "download your eduroam installer".
• Search and select " Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale "
• Select your operating system and download its installer. Please note, for iphone and ipad select "Apple IOS mobile devices"
• Install and follow the instructions, you will be asked to enter your credentials. These must be entered in the form:
  name.surname@uniupo.it for the staff
  ORenrolmentnumber@studenti.uniupo.it for students
